Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use innovativefurniture.co.nz or buy from Innovative Furniture Limited ("we", "us"). By using the website or buying from us you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time; changes take effect once published here.

Products and pricing

• Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise.
• Prices, descriptions and availability can change without notice, and we may discontinue products.
• Errors in pricing or product information may result in cancellation and refund.

Orders and payment

• All orders are subject to our acceptance. We may decline or cancel orders, including where payment can't be verified or products are unavailable.
• Ownership passes to you once full payment is received and the goods are delivered or collected.

Dispatch and delivery

• Orders are typically dispatched within 2 to 5 working days unless stated otherwise. Delivery timeframes are estimates.
• Extra charges may apply for rural or remote areas and for access issues.
• Goods not collected or delivered within 21 days of contact may be cancelled at our discretion.
• Visible damage must be reported at delivery. See our shipping policy.

Returns and refunds

We don't offer change-of-mind returns or refunds. Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. See our refund policy.

Warranty

NZ-made upholstered furniture from our Auckland factory: 10 years. Imported furniture: 2 years. Appliances: the manufacturer's warranty. Warranties apply under normal domestic use for the original purchaser; see our warranty page for coverage, exclusions and claims.

Marketing and privacy

Marketing is sent only with your consent and you can opt out at any time; service messages such as order confirmations are unaffected. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 and our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from misuse of the website or breach of these terms. We aren't responsible for the actions or delays of third-party carriers.

Care

Use furniture as intended and follow the care instructions provided. Not following care guidelines may void warranty cover.

Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law and the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
